  I way prefer WinCo to most other grocery stores. Firstly, their prices are generally significantly lower than most other grocery stores. Secondly, it's cooperatively owned by the employees so you aren't just making the Walton family (the owners of Walmart) even more obscenely wealthy. The money is going to the employees. Thirdly, because it's owned by the employees, everyone who works there gets is there a salary, health benefits, and share in the company. The one downside is that because it's smaller they don't always have the same selection you can find at a bigger store. However, you can feel good about shopping there because you're helping people more than just helping Rich Executives and you're actually saving money doing it usually.
